    They don’t say, “It’s a fungus.”

I’v mentioned my Christian friend Karen, who had been given 2 months to live (she has gone over that now) with lung cancer. I think her husband is finding it harder, though he has faith in God, he obviously doesn’t want to lose her, but she is very strong in her faith and believing God to heal her, or if it is His will to take her Home, she accepts that. She wants to live, ofcourse she does, for her family and for her husband, and the work they do in their Church, but she has placed her faith and trust in her God, because she knows He knows what is best for her. Death (for a Christian) is but a door to Life…..we have eternal life as soon as we accept Christ as Savior…..but we enter into His Presence and that Life when we die. The sadness is in leaving people behind.

My brother-in-law also had Leukemia and was given 2 years to live, he lived 9. Yes, he died, but he still had faith in God.

People without faith cannot understand this, and will question a ‘loving God’, why He lets people suffer. That is part of life on this earth, God heals, God saves, but Gods way is ALWAYS the best whatever happens….IF WE TRUST IN HIM.
