The Dark side is everyhere….not just in games but in TV, films, videos, music….it will invade whatever avenue it can to corrupt, deprave and destroy what is good. And the one behind it is laughing at the worlds ignorance of him.

No matter how hot, or fast, or bright light may be in this universe, remember; The dark was there first.

F.L.A: Hi! I thot you may have been affected by the hurricane over there.
    Is everyone else on holiday?

  4. F. L. A. said

No, everyone else is still working…like ants.
John is destined to work until he dies. A heart attack perhaps..
I am always on a holiday, although I have been helping to pick up derbies and branches around here.

Maybe it was because we grew up poor and[happily]in the middle of nowhere, but we never had the time or desire to play video games as children. We actually got out and DID THINGS, like fishing, hiking, building things, playing with rubber dinosaurs, catching creepycrawlies, pretending to be dinosaurs, playing games, wrestling, sword fighting with sticks, etc. Does anyone these days still do any of these things?
Or am I just stuck in the 19th century?

Or was this show directed at those 30+year-olds who are addicted to playing video games in their parents basement when they SHOULD be out getting a job and becoming self reliant adults?

John: It is a shame that children don’t do those adventurous things much anymore. What I have seen of some of these video games, even some of the kids ones, are quite violent, shooting, fighting, or whatever. Whatever happened to ”The Famous Five”? Or do you know them over there? Actually I think they are bringing this childrens adventure series back.
As a child I loved the woods and the wide open spaces in the country side too, still do.

    Meee too!!!!!
    Well, it’s a small world after all[smile].

I don’t know about The Famous Five adventure series, Maz.
Was this a t.v. show? If it was then that is probably why, for I did not watch t.v. much as a child[always outside somewhere] and do not live with television now as an adult.

John: The Famous Five was actually a British production in series format for TV about the adventures of five children about 11-13 yrs old (I think), it was from a book and I believe it was written by Enid Blyton of Noddy fame. It may never have made it to USA, but it was quite well known here in the 1960’s (I think). It was that long ago I can’t remember the details! But they are bringing it back to the TV. All the stuff that comes on for kids nowadays is so stupid.

When I was a kid I use to fantasize about living out in the wilds! I loved horses too so I had to have one of those to ride on!

John had a horse once, but it died and we ate it.

    F.L.A: Ahhhhhhh.

    “Ahhhhhh” or Awwwwwww”?

  13. Maz said

    F.L.A: Ahhhhhhhh…poor thing.

  14. F. L. A. said

Tomorrow is promised to know man…or horse.
She did not go to waste.

  15. F. L. A. said

    NO man, I mean.

  16. Maz said

F.L.A: That is quite true. And now to bed. It’s 23:10 hrs. here.

It’s leaner than beef and just as tasty!
