If you believein the trinity in God the Father God the son and God the holy spirit. then the holy spirit is the father os jesus. because wasit not the holy spirit that went into Mary.

The guest said today that a person was not saved if he did not believe in the Trinity. I disagree. Although I believe in the Trinity in the way Baptist believe – three persons, I know of Christian people who do not see it the same way. Now, they believe that Jesus is the Son of God, born of a virgin, died for our sins, was resurrected and ascended to Heaven. They just believe that the three persons of the Trinity are different manifestations of God – not three different persons. Because God is omnipresent, He can do this. When we add specifics of our own beliefs as requirements for salvation, are we not adding to the Gospel of Christ? Ironically, many of these people say that we believe in three Gods and that that our Trinity doctrine is heretical.

How does one proceed after making up one’s mind to believe that the Bible is infallible?

    That is the question.

One can be a Christian and not be an ignoramus!

I believe God’s Word is without error. Our Bible, however, has been handled and interpreted and decided upon by fallible people. Below are a few of several scriptures that I believe give us help in deciding on this issue. I took these from the King James version, because I know there are people that think that is the only correct version. I think we need to think about who interpreted the King James Bible. We have no indication that they were inspired. The only inspiration we can be sure of is the original message from God to the man who wrote it. Therefore, I believe we need to test everything in the scripture by other scriptures that came from other writers, and I believe this is the message of the Bible.

Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
    2 Peter 1:20

. . . at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.
    Deuteronomy 19:15

. . . that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
    Matthew 18:15-17

This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.
    2 Corinthians 13:1-3
